A door
is more than a simple way of entering and leaving your home. A door
is a statement … it
tells you a great deal about the quality of property and the care and
attention it receives.
You can tell the difference yourself. Open some doors and they feel
so flimsy they could be made of cardboard. Other doors either stick
or scrape, particularly in damp weather, or are so ill-fitting the
wind just whistles through.
As you would expect, the James Harcourt range of exterior doors suffers
from none of these faults.
First their appearance is superb, with all the character of a traditional
solid hardwood door.
Yet, underneath the surface, we have once again utilised the latest
polymer technologies to create a low maintenance, high durability door
which will never rot or need re-painting.
To ensure the highest quality levels we have, for once, restricted
ourselves to three core designs. The Georgian panelled door with a
glazed fanlight; the Victorian glazed door which provides security
with additional daylight; and the Edwardian glazed door, where the
sculptured head of the glazed sections provides period authenticity.

The golden oak
door is oak coloured on both the external and internal faces, the
white door is white both sides, whereas the green door has a white
internal face ... not green ... to compliment a wider range of interior
decorative colours. James Harcourt doors will not
warp or twist and they offer excellent weather performance and resistance
to fire.
For your added security, multi-point locks, five lever mortice locks and night
latches are all available and to complete your door, handles, letterplates, numerals,
knockers and 'spyglass' viewers are fitted to your instructions.
Other door designs and options are available, and we will be happy to discuss these with you. |
