	What is the Consumer Protection Association? The Consumer Protection Association (CPA) is an independent body offering a range of services designed to offer purchasers of home improvements valuable protection. James Harcourt is a member of the CPA and this allows our Approved Installers benefit from the protection the CPA can provide. Why Do You Need Protection? Over recent years, unfortunately the home improvement industry has been gained an unfortunate reputation, due to the antics of a small proportion of companies. The CPA guarantee will safeguard your home improvement for years to come. It is important that you ask the Approved Installer to include the protection in any quotation they provide. What Protection Do I Get? We offer two types of cover. Deposit Indemnity On some large installations our Approved Installers may ask for a deposit. On such occasions you may wish to protect against the loss of the deposit. Insurance Backed Guarantee The CPA Consumer Guard Insurance Backed Guarantee protects you against any faults with your home improvement for up to ten years.
